Regulatory-Native AI
Assessment

An independent, scored review of your existing AI decisioning system against Sidian's Regulatory-Native AI standard — for institutions that already have infrastructure in place and want to know where it stands before a regulator, investor, or vendor-risk review does.

What this is — and isn't

This is an independent architecture assessment against Sidian's own published standard — not a regulatory certification, and not endorsed or issued by MAS or any accreditation body. The deliverable is a private written report for your internal use, not a public compliance mark.

Who It's For

You already have a system. You want an outside read on it.

For institutions with an existing AI decisioning system who don't want a full Guardian/RegOS integration, but need an independent view of whether that system is structurally defensible — ahead of a MAS review, an investment round, or a vendor-risk assessment from a counterparty.

Deterministic-First
Where a decision can be an explicit, auditable rule, is it — or does it rely on implicit model behaviour?
Fail-Closed by Default
Does uncertainty route to a block or human escalation, or can it silently pass?
Audit-Native, Not Audit-Added
Is the audit trail a direct output of the decision process, or reconstructed from logs after the fact?
Explainability Co-Developed
For any ML components, was explainability built alongside the model, or retrofitted after?
Human Override Is Structural
Is escalation load-bearing and governed, or a button that can be silently bypassed?

How the Assessment Works

Step 1
Scoping call
A short call to understand your current AI decisioning system, its scope, and what's driving the assessment — a MAS conversation, an investment round, a vendor review.
Step 2
System review
Sidian reviews your architecture, decision logic, and audit trail design against the five criteria — via documentation, technical interviews, and (where relevant) a code-level walkthrough.
Step 3
Scored report
A written, criterion-by-criterion assessment: where your system already meets the standard, where it doesn't, and why each gap matters in front of a regulator.
Step 4
Remediation roadmap (optional)
If gaps are found, an optional follow-on discussion on what closing them would take — architecture, process, or vendor changes.
